Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], November 28 (ANI): Drinking water provide schemes value Rs 225.24 Crore have been accepted for Uttarakhand within the State-level scheme sanctioning committee (SLSSC) assembly held on November 26, 2021, mentioned a press launch by the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

These schemes will present faucet water connections in 293 villages unfold over seven districts of the State. Of the 12 water provide schemes sanctioned, 11 are multi-village and one is a single village scheme. It will present faucet water connection to over 19,000 rural households, added the press launch.

Under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), there’s a provision for the structure of the State Level Scheme Sanctioning Committee (SLSSC) for consideration and approval of schemes to be taken up for making provision of faucet water provide to rural households, added the press launch.

The SLC acts as a State-level Committee to think about water provide schemes/ tasks, and a nominee of the National Jal Jeevan Mission (NJJM), Government of India is a member of the committee, as per the assertion.
