On the morning of the 18th, a medium-sized truck and a big truck collided on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, killing two drivers, each 21 and 55 years outdated. Police are investigating the main points of the accident.
Shortly after 7:40 am on the 18th, a medium-sized truck and a large-sized truck collided on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway in Tajiri, Nanto City.
Two drivers from either side had been taken to the hospital on this accident, however Tsubasa Ueshin (21), an organization worker in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, who was driving the medium-duty truck, died about an hour and a half later, and the large-sized truck died. Katsunori Kawai (55), an organization worker in Nanto City who was driving the truck, died about two and a half hours later.
Police are investigating the main points of the accident, as the location was a straight street with one lane on either side and there was a middle pole within the heart.
Due to this accident, the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway continues to be closed to visitors on the up and down traces between the Fukumitsu Interchange and the Oyabe-Tonami Junction.
