TOKYO –
A 12-year-old British woman visiting Japan on a household journey has been reported lacking after surveillance footage confirmed her leaving a non-public lodging facility alone in Tokyo’s Ota Ward on the morning of August 13.
The lacking woman has been recognized as Carmelita Rakudesha Paul, who had traveled to Japan from Britain together with her household.
Security digital camera footage captured Paul leaving the lodging by herself on Thursday morning, August 13.
Paul is about 160 centimeters tall and was carrying a lightweight blue sleeveless shirt and a black-and-white checkered skirt when she disappeared.
She was carrying solely a number of thousand yen in money and didn’t have a smartphone together with her.
Tokyo police are in search of details about her whereabouts.
