BJP petrified of AAP: Anurag Dhanda questions Satyendar Jain’s arrest in Delhi Jal Board tender case

New Delhi [India], August 19 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party chief Anurag Dhanda on Tuesday questioned the arrest of former Delhi Minister and AAP chief Satyendar Jain in reference to the Anti-Corruption Branch’s investigation into the Delhi Jal Board tender case, alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party was ‘petrified of AAP’.

In a publish on X, Dhanda underlined that Jain was already in judicial custody in the course of the timeline of the alleged Jal Board tender irregularities, arguing that holding him accountable was nonsensical. The remarks got here after the Anti-Corruption Branch arrested six accused, together with Satyendar Kumar Jain and former Delhi Jal Board CEO Udit Prakash Rai, in reference to alleged irregularities and manipulation within the tendering course of for augmentation and upgradation of Sewage Treatment Plants.

The investigation allegedly revealed communications between Raja Kumar Kurra, Nagendra Yadav and Ankit Srivastava regarding conferences, tender situations, corrigenda and different issues associated to the STP tender.

The ACB stated the fabric collected in the course of the investigation led to the interrogation and subsequent arrest of all six accused on August 18.
