TOKYO, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) — The season’s first snow fell over Tokyo, Japan, softening town’s silhouette, whereas heat amber lights glowed from hundreds of home windows.

The snowfall on Friday was a day sooner than the typical and 14 days later than final season, based on the Japan Meteorological Agency.
