The stays of Ainu individuals held on the Natural History Museum in London have been returned to Japan, marking the fourth case of repatriation of stays taken abroad.
An Ainu ceremony was held on the museum on May fifth in London, the place individuals provided prayers for the ancestors.
A proper handover ceremony occurred on the museum, attended by representatives from Japan together with the chairman of the Hokkaido Ainu Association and Minister accountable for Ainu coverage Kiokawada.

This marks the fourth case of stays being returned from abroad, following repatriations from Germany and Scotland within the United Kingdom, bringing the full quantity returned since 2017 to fifteen.
