FUKUI, May 17 (News On Japan) –
A pilot in his 80s defined that he ‘forgot to decrease the touchdown gear,’ resulting in a stomach touchdown of a small propeller airplane at Fukui Airport on May 15. The incident has been categorised as a “serious incident” by nationwide authorities.

According to officers, the aged pilot said that he forgot to decrease the lever for the touchdown gear, ensuing within the airplane touchdown with out the wheels prolonged.
