Two suspects of their twenties have been arrested for defrauding an aged particular person of three million yen in money by calling a lodge in Chiba Prefecture for “It’s me” fraud.
It is claimed that the arrest was triggered by a report from a lodge visitor saying, “I can hear a voice like a fraudulent telephone name.”
