4th National Water Awards: MP tops in ‘Best State class’, Odisha luggage second place

New Delhi [India], May 20 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh has secured first place among the many states within the 4th National Water Awards-2022, official sources stated on Saturday.

According to sources, Madhya Pradesh received the highest place within the ‘Best State’ class, adopted by Odisha which secured the 2nd place whereas Andhra Pradesh and Bihar have been introduced as joint winners for the third place, sources stated.

In the Best District class, Ganjam, Odisha has been awarded first prize, adopted by Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, and Adilabad, Telangana, they added.

“Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar is likely to confer the awards next month,” sources stated.

According to sources, 41 winners together with joint winners have been chosen for the 4th National Water Awards, 2022, masking 11 classes – ‘Best State’, ‘Best District’, ‘Best Village Panchayat’, ‘Best Urban Local Body’, ‘Best School’, ‘Best Media’, ‘Best Institution for campus utilization’, ‘Best water consumer affiliation’, ‘Best Industry’, ‘Best Industry for CSR actions’, and ‘Best NGO’.

The first National Water Award was launched by the Jal Shakti Ministry in 2018. National Water Awards have supplied a superb alternative for start-ups in addition to main organizations to have interaction and deliberate with senior policymakers on easy methods to undertake the most effective water assets administration practices in India.

To encourage and acknowledge people and organizations doing exemplary work within the discipline of water assets administration, the Department of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti is giving 57 awards to States, Organizations, Individuals, and so forth in 11 totally different classes – Best State, Best District, Best Village Panchayat, Best Urban Local Body, Best Media (PrintElectronic), Best School, Best Institution/RWA/Religious group for Campus utilization, Best Industry, Best NGO, Best Water User Association and Best Industry for CSR Activity.
