TOKYO, April 22 (Xinhua) — Brooke Raboutou of the United States gained the ladies’s boulder title with a commanding efficiency on the 2023 Sport Climbing World Cup season opener in Hachioji, Japan on Saturday.
22-year-old Raboutou dominated the sphere of six rivals within the closing, attaining three tops and 4 zones out of 4 boulders.
Germany’s Hannah Meul took silver and Japan’s Anon Matsufuji completed third. Meul was the one different climber to attain a high within the closing.
China’s 17-year-old Luo Zhilu, who reached the semifinal because the final placer, shocked all by ending second within the semifinals. She settled for fifth total by recording three zones.
