HOKKAIDO –
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of tried homicide after allegedly stabbing a 16-year-old highschool lady within the neck with a mechanical pencil at a retailer in Hakodate, Hokkaido, round midday on August 4.
Hakodate Central Police Station recognized the suspect as a Hakodate resident who described himself as unemployed.
Police mentioned the person allegedly attacked the lady with intent to kill on the retailer within the metropolis’s Mihara 3-chome district, inflicting an damage to her neck.
Immediately after the incident, the person known as police himself and mentioned, “I stabbed a woman with a mechanical pencil.” Officers who arrived on the scene arrested him on the spot.
The lady suffered a minor damage, police mentioned.
Investigators imagine the suspect and the lady didn’t know one another.
The man has admitted stabbing her with the mechanical pencil, however police haven’t decided whether or not he has admitted desiring to kill her.
Police are investigating his motive and the circumstances main as much as the assault.
