TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police are looking for a pair of thieves who used pepper spray to attempt to steal 50 million yen in money from a male firm president in Edogawa Ward on Friday, experiences TV Asahi (Sep. 19).
At slightly after 10:00 a.m., the president, aged in his 30s, exited a financial institution with a paper bag containing the 50 million yen after making a withdrawal.
Just as he was getting out of his automobile to return to the workplace, the 2 male perpetrators approached him from behind.
When he rotated after being known as out to, they immediately sprayed pepper spray in his face. When he resisted the assault, the pair fled with out taking something.
A witness stated of the president after the assault, “He said it stung when they sprayed him. He couldn’t even open his eyes.”
The suspicious pair had reportedly been ready close by simply earlier than the incident.
“One of them was on the phone here, and another, a smaller person, was going back and forth on the phone, crouching down,” the aforementioned witness stated.
Both males stand about 170 centimeters tall. They have been sporting black shirts, black shorts and black sun shades, with one among them sporting a white masks.
The sufferer was taken to a hospital with accidents to his eyes.
Tokyo police are looking for the 2 males on suspicion of tried theft.
