McDonald’s Japan has issued an apology over the controversy surrounding its Pokémon card promotion in Happy Meals following stories of bulk purchases for resale functions, in addition to cases of meals being deserted or discarded.
In a press release, the corporate acknowledged that its response had been insufficient, saying it took the matter critically. It pressured that such conduct wouldn’t be tolerated and introduced plans to impose strict limits on the variety of objects bought in future promotions.
McDonald’s additionally warned that prospects who have interaction in bulk shopping for or show aggressive conduct might be refused service and have their accounts faraway from the official app.
