OSAKA (TR) – For many in Japan, commonplace follow for Christmas dinner means a plate of karaage (fried rooster).
But have you ever heard concerning the karaage (fried rooster) con man in Osaka City? If not, pricey reader, prepare.
In July and September, Toru Kusui, 59, of no identified occupation, allegedly made false claims about rooster merchandise he had not bought at two karaage stands in Komagawa Shopping Street close to his residence in Higashisumiyoshi Ward, reviews ABC News (Dec. 23).
“I bought fried chicken, but it was not included [in my order],” he falsely mentioned to at least one proprietor in making an attempt to defraud them by getting refunds for merchandise he had not bought.
Police have arrested him on suspicion of tried fraud. In response to questioning, Kusui admitted to the costs. “I did it to pay for dating sites,” he mentioned. “I have done this several hundred times.”
The supervisor of 1 stand focused by the suspect considered him as suspicious from the outset. “I took a quick look at what was in the store and thought, ‘He’s picking the most expensive ones. This guy knows what he is doing,’” the proprietor tells the community. “I was hoping he would be caught as soon as possible.”
Police had been investigating Kusui on a voluntary foundation utilizing data from the shops. However, they arrested him after suspicions grew that he had the crime repeatedly.
