Elementary college college students vs. jet aircraft in tug-of-war at Narita Airport

TOKYO, Sep 17 (News On Japan) –
In preparation for “Aviation Day” on September 20, elementary college college students at Narita Airport took on the problem of a tug-of-war with a jet aircraft.

Approximately 250 folks, together with elementary college college students and their dad and mom, gathered at Narita Airport for this occasion.

On the morning of the seventeenth, a large jet aircraft weighing 161 tons, which had arrived from Australia, awaited them.

About 140 elementary college college students joined forces to drag three ropes linked to the aircraft’s axles concurrently, however the jet aircraft did not budge an inch.

As some adults joined in to assist with the tug-of-war, the aircraft slowly started to maneuver, and the victory went to a parent-child workforce who had pulled it 15 meters.

The tug-of-war occasion with a jet aircraft has been held since 1993 to familiarize folks with the airport, and this marks the twenty fifth time it has taken place.
