Runaway relative arrested for homicide of Yokohama ramen store supervisor

A male family member of the Yokohama ramen store supervisor who was stabbed to demise in his restaurant final Friday evening has been arrested after being tracked down by police in Nagoya, over 300km from the scene of the crime.

The suspect, Akihito Ohashi (35), is accused of utilizing a knife to stab and kill Hiroki Ohashi (33), the supervisor of the ramen store in Yokohama’s Konan Ward on September 15.

Police traced Akihito to a lodge in Nagoya after inspecting safety digicam footage. He has admitted to utilizing a knife within the stabbing, though no homicide weapon was discovered.
