A employee has died after being buried in scorching ash whereas performing upkeep on an exhaust fuel purification system at a glass manufacturing unit in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture.
At round 11:30 a.m. Monday, a report was comprised of the Chiba Plant of Nippon Sheet Glass in Ichihara, stating, ‘A employee is buried beneath ash.’
According to the police, a number of staff have been contained in the gadget to take care of the tools that removes sulfur dioxide from gases emitted in the course of the glass manufacturing course of.
While eradicating amassed ash, a male employee in his 50s was buried within the scorching ash. He was rescued by firefighters however was pronounced useless.
The temperature of the ash was estimated to be round 50 levels Celsius. Three different male staff suffered burns and have been taken to the hospital.
