Worker Buried Alive in Hot Ash at Glass Factory in Chiba

A employee has died after being buried in scorching ash whereas performing upkeep on an exhaust fuel purification system at a glass manufacturing unit in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture.

At round 11:30 a.m. Monday, a report was comprised of the Chiba Plant of Nippon Sheet Glass in Ichihara, stating, ‘A employee is buried beneath ash.’
