Women’s Marathon: Honan Maeda units new Japanese report for the primary time in 19 years | NHK

27-year-old Honan Maeda, a Tokyo Olympic girls’s marathon consultant, set a brand new Japanese report of two hours, 18 minutes, and 59 seconds on the Osaka International Women’s Marathon held in Osaka.
The earlier Japanese report was 2 hours 19 minutes 12 seconds, set by Athens Olympic gold medalist Mizuki Noguchi on the 2005 Berlin Marathon, and Maeda broke this report for the primary time in 19 years.
