Woman’s Blouse Set on Fire on Sapporo Subway Platform

SAPPORO, Oct 12 (News On Japan) –
Police in Sapporo are looking for a person who set fireplace to the again of a lady’s shirt at round 1 p.m. on the platform of Odori Station on Sapporo’s Tozai Line on October 4th.

The lady in her 40s was standing on the platform when she felt a pulling sensation and, as she circled, noticed the person strolling away. Noticing a burnt odor, she checked her clothes and found it was on fireplace. The shirt had a gap about 5 centimeters in diameter, however the lady was not injured.

The suspect is described as round 150 centimeters tall, with brief white hair, sporting a darkish long-sleeved shirt and trousers. Police say there had been no prior interplay between the sufferer and the suspect and are investigating the incident as a case of property harm whereas looking for the person who fled the scene.
