New Delhi [India], July 22 (ANI): United States Ambassador to India Sergio Gor might be becoming a member of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio within the Philippines for the second Ministerial QUAD assembly.
In an announcement shared by the US Mission in India on Tuesday, Ambassador Gor reaffirmed Washington’s dedication to the regional grouping alongside India, Australia, and Japan, emphasising that Washington’s Quad companions are ‘important’ to sustaining a free and open Indo-Pacific.
‘Looking ahead to becoming a member of Secretary Marco Rubio this week within the Philippines for our second Ministerial Quad assembly of the 12 months. The United States is dedicated to a free and open Indo-Pacific; our Quad companions are important!’ Ambassador Sergio Gor acknowledged.

The assertion comes as Secretary Rubio arrives in Manila earlier within the day to take part in a sequence of ASEAN overseas ministers’ conferences and regional safety discussions.
