In an incident during which the workplaces of the Abe faction and the Nikai faction have been searched over a political fund get together held by a faction of the Liberal Democratic Party, a number of members of the Abe faction and the Nikai faction every raised cash for the get together in extra of their gross sales quota. Through interviews with individuals concerned, we newly found that there are circumstances during which the proceeds are usually not delivered to the faction within the first place.
It is suspected that such get together earnings will not be recorded within the political fund earnings and expenditure studies of factions and members of the Diet, and the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office’s Special Investigation Department is believed to be conducting an investigation into the detailed circumstances.
