Two cops from the Hyogo Prefectural Police have been arrested for possessing marijuana, admitting they saved it for private use.
The suspects, a patrol officer from the Akashi Police Station, and a sergeant from the Fukiai Police Station. Both are accused of possessing marijuana at their respective houses in October.
According to investigators, police started probing Kato after receiving a tip that he possessed marijuana, which later led to the invention. The two reportedly knew one another from about two years in the past once they have been each assigned to the neighborhood affairs division of the Akashi Station.
In questioning, each males have admitted to the allegations, saying they possessed the marijuana for their very own use. Police are persevering with their investigation into how the 2 obtained the drug.
