OSAKA (TR) – During the trial of six Osaka Prefectural Police investigators indicted for assaulting a male topic of an investigation, it has been revealed that footage from a police digital camera was briefly erased, reviews Mainichi Broadcasting System (Dec. 24).
According to the indictment and different paperwork, defendant Yusuke Sakaguchi, a 33-year-old sergeant, and 5 different investigators assaulted a male topic of an investigation throughout a search in July.
The incident befell in a unit of a constructing believed to be a base of Natural, which is Japan’s largest scouting group for introducing girls to grownup leisure (fuzoku) institutions.
At the trial on Tuesday, the protection identified that an investigation report said that footage from a police investigative digital camera secretly put in by the police was deleted after the search after which restored.
When requested who deleted the footage, Sakaguchi replied, “Someone working at the investigation headquarters.”
Regarding the circumstances surrounding the deletion of the footage, the Osaka Prefectural Police said, “We will refrain from answering as the trial is ongoing.”
