A girl was injured when a big tree collapsed on a biking course at Komazawa Olympic Park in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, on September fifteenth.
According to police, the accident occurred round 12:40 p.m. when a cherry tree, measuring greater than ten meters in peak, snapped at its base and fell onto the biking path. The girl, who was passing by on a bicycle, was struck and brought to a hospital. She stays aware.
Footage from the location reveals the fallen tree and a close-by bicycle mendacity on the bottom. Park officers confirmed that the tree was a cherry tree, damaged on the roots.
The incident happened beside a youngsters’s playground alongside the biking course. Police are investigating the reason for the collapse.
