KAGAWA, May 17 (News On Japan) –
A sightseeing boat carrying 25 individuals caught hearth off the coast of Ogijima Island in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture on the night of May sixteenth. All passengers and crew have been safely rescued by a close-by fishing boat, and no accidents have been reported.
One of the passengers described the state of affairs: “Flames broke out, and I rushed over with a fire extinguisher, but at that point there was really nothing we could do.”
According to the Takamatsu Coast Guard Office, a misery name was obtained from the vessel’s captain at round 5:40 p.m., reporting a fireplace on board. The vessel, named Dai-27 Mukuji Maru, is owned by Rokukuchi Maru Kaiun primarily based in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture. It was carrying 21 passengers and 4 crew members, all of whom have been rescued by a close-by fishing vessel.
The tour boat had been visiting websites resembling Inujima Island in Okayama earlier than heading again towards Takamatsu Port when the hearth broke out.
