TOKYO, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) — Tokyo shares continued to lose floor on Friday, weighed down by weak high-tech shares that tracked an in a single day decline of their U.S. friends.
Japan’s benchmark Nikkei stock index, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average, fell 384.24 factors, or 1.16 %, from Thursday to 32,606.84.
The broader Topix index, in the meantime, completed 24.36 factors, or 1.02 %, decrease at 2,359.02.
Stocks had been decrease from the outset, pushed down by tech points.
