Tokyo Olympics bid rigging case: Deputy director of the Games Organizing Committee sentenced with suspended sentence | NHK

The Tokyo District Court sentenced the previous deputy director of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games Organizing Committee to 2 years in jail, suspended for 4 years, after he was charged with violating the Antimonopoly Act in a bid-rigging case involving the administration of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, which amounted to greater than 43 billion yen. He was sentenced for 2018.
