Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike (71) introduced on the twelfth her intention to run for a 3rd time period within the gubernatorial election scheduled for July 7, with the official marketing campaign interval beginning on June twentieth.

In the ultimate session of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly’s common assembly, Koike acknowledged, ‘I’ve determined to run within the Tokyo gubernatorial election with the resolve to additional advance the upgraded Tokyo reform.’
