TOCHIGI (TR) – Tochigi Prefectural Police have arrested a 56-year-old lady over the alleged shoplifting greater than 3 kilograms of wagyu beef steak from a grocery store in Otawara City, studies TV Asahi (Mar. 31).
At round 9:00 a.m., the girl, of no recognized occupation, is suspected of stealing a block of meat that was being offered for roughly 26,000 yen from the grocery store.
According to the police, the meat was domestically produced wagyu beef steak and weighed roughly 3.5 kilograms.
The police confirmed that the girl left the shop with out paying for the meat. She was apprehended within the car parking zone.
During questioning, the girl admitted to the fees, stating that she stole it “to save money.”
Tochigi police are investigating whether or not she shoplifted some other objects.
