In the wake of Publicis Groupe’s $2.2 billion acquisition of LiveRamp this week, the most important query the trade is asking is whether or not the information onboarding and collaboration platform can preserve its neutrality.
CEO Scott Howe typically refers to LiveRamp because the trade’s “Switzerland” relating to its agnosticism. The firm plugs into the information stacks of hundreds of tech platforms, publishers, and businesses, typically who compete with each other.
But within the days because the acquisition, businesses are questioning whether or not they wish to maintain working with an organization that’s now owned by one in all their greatest rivals.
