Summer Fireworks Draw 920,000 to Central Tokyo

TOKYO –
The Sumida River Fireworks Festival, a summer time custom in Tokyo’s historic downtown districts, was held throughout Taito and Sumida wards on July 25, with about 20,000 fireworks lighting up the evening sky following a day of intense warmth.
