Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had no association for any assembly with the Japanese aspect in Manila, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian instructed media at an everyday press briefing on Thursday.
Lin stated Wang’s tight schedule couldn’t permit his full attendance on the sequence of international ministers’ conferences on East Asia Cooperation, including that Chinese senior officers will attend the ASEAN Plus Three (China, Japan, the Republic of Korea) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, the East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and the ASEAN Regional Forum Foreign Ministers’ Meeting as representatives.
