LOS ANGELES, May 04 (News On Japan) –
Sony Pictures Entertainment, underneath the Sony Group, in partnership with an American funding agency, has proposed a joint acquisition of the U.S. media big Paramount Global for about 4 trillion yen ($26 billion), as reported by a number of American media sources.
If realized, this is able to mark a serious reorganization within the media and leisure business. Paramount is understood for distributing the favored “Mission: Impossible” sequence and in addition owns CBS, one of many three main networks.
