TOKYO, Japan: After coming underneath public criticism for utilizing Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s residence for a personal celebration, his eldest son and government secretary for political affairs, Shotaro Kishida, is about to resign.
Kishida invited a bunch, together with family members, to a year-end celebration on Dec. 30 on the Prime Minister’s Official Residence.

“As secretary for (the prime minister’s) political affairs, a public position, his actions were inappropriate and I decided to replace him to have him take responsibility,” Kishida informed reporters Monday night time. He mentioned his son might be changed with one other secretary, Takayoshi Yamamoto, on Thursday.
