BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) — South Korea participant Son Junho will most likely miss the East Asian Cup event after he was injured in a Sunday’s Chinese Super League sport.
The Shandong Taishan midfielder fell to the bottom clutching his proper knee within the ninth minute of the sport towards Dalian Pro. Three minutes later, he was substituted.
“Son Junho injured his knee joint. The injury seems to be rather serious, ” Shandong Taishan head coach Hao Wei mentioned after his facet’s 3-1 win.
Son appeared on the Haikou airport in a wheelchair along with his proper knee bandaged on Monday.
