To stop massive gatherings, Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward has cordoned off the realm across the Hachiko statue from early October thirtieth, as Halloween approaches.
According to officers from Shibuya Ward, the realm surrounding Hachiko will stay closed till early morning on November 1st to discourage crowds through the Halloween interval.
Additionally, safety guards shall be stationed round Shibuya Station on the nights of October thirtieth and thirty first.
Since earlier this month, amendments to native ordinances have imposed a year-round ban on outside consuming at night time within the neighborhood of Shibuya Station.
Ward officers are urging folks to not come to Shibuya for Halloween-related actions.
