Sensex loses 71 factors amid weak international cues in morning commerce

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 10 (ANI): The key benchmark of the fairness home markets opened with losses on Wednesday morning, monitoring weak international cues. BSE Sensex went down 71 factors to 61,689.38 and NSE Nifty misplaced 21 factors to 18,244.35 in morning commerce. The prime gainers on Nifty 50 have been IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors, Power Grid, Bajaj Auto and HCL Tech whereas the losers have been UPL, Dr Reddy, SBIN, Grasim and Adani Ports.

In Asian markets, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng went down 133 factors, Japan’s Nikkei misplaced 129 factors, China’s Shanghai went down 46 factors and Thailand SET dropped 1 level as home markets opened on Wednesday.

In the US markets, Dow Jones misplaced 56 factors, S-P 500 went down 18 factors, Nasdaq dropped 77 factors and NYSE declined 38 factors.

In European markets, Amsterdam Exchange, BEL, CAC and Deutsche Borse have been buying and selling within the optimistic territory, FTSE misplaced 14 factors and Madrid was additionally within the optimistic territory.

Rupee rose 5 paise to 82.01 towards the US dollar in early commerce on Wednesday.
