NAGASAKI, Jan 12 (News On Japan) –
A 37-year-old police officer was fatally struck by a taxi in Nagasaki City on Wednesday night.
A taxi driver reported “run over something,” and it’s believed that the deceased police officer was mendacity on the highway which was prohibited for pedestrians to enter.
Police are investigating the potential for the officer, belonging to the Nagasaki Prefectural Police Headquarters, sleeping on the highway or a hit-and-run incident involving one other car.
