MANILA – President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday expressed optimism that the Philippines’ partnerships with the Japanese enterprise group would proceed to thrive beneath his management.
Marcos made the assertion through the high-power luncheon and networking occasion organized by premier Japanese enterprise group in Tokyo.
In a keynote speech, Marcos hailed the “unique” enterprise panorama in Japan, noting the centric alternatives for numerous industries equivalent to manufacturing, building, actual property, retail, meals service, buying and selling, telecommunications, aviation, recruitment, mining and agribusiness.
“Indeed, there is much to be admired about Japan’s unique business landscape where networks of independent manufacturers, supply, chain partners, distributors and financiers work efficiently and harmoniously to ensure the success of the whole,” he mentioned.
Citing the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) report, Marcos welcomed the results of the enterprise matching occasion organized by the division which yielded over 255 conferences between Filipino and Japanese enterprise leaders.
This, as Marcos famous that he was accompanied by an “equally diverse” group of 114 Filipino businessmen in his five-day official go to to Japan.

The high-power luncheon and networking occasion serves as a platform for the Philippines to forge new connections in enterprise, in addition to to determine new alternatives and information in advancing the nation’s partnership with Japan’s enterprise sector.
