OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police have arrested a 73-year-old man for allegedly strangling his spouse inside their residence in Yao on Monday.
At round 12:35 p.m., Hidejiro Shiraki referred to as police from the residence. “I strangled my wife to death,” stories Kyodo News (Oct. 14).
When cops arrived, they discovered his spouse, 75-year-old Mizuko, mendacity unconscious on her again between the lounge and the hallway of the home. The electrical wire of a hair dryer was wrapped round her neck.
Mizuko was taken to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest. However, she was later confirmed lifeless. The explanation for demise seems to have beeen asphyxiation, police stated.
Upon his arrest on suspicion of tried homicide, Shiraki admitted to the allegations. “I strangled [her] in the hallway on the first floor,” the suspect stated.
Shiraki lives along with his spouse and son within the residence. Police are actually in search of a motive for the crime.
