In a bid-rigging case involving the operation of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) has accused six corporations, together with the most important promoting firm Dentsu Group and the trade’s second-largest firm Hakuhodo, of a complete of greater than 43 billion yen in operations. A complete of seven individuals, together with six corporations and the previous deputy director of the event organizing committee, have been criminally charged with violating the Antimonopoly Act, alleging that they have been conducting unlawful order changes. In response to this, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office is anticipated to indict six corporations and the previous deputy director on the twenty eighth.
