New York City FC defender Thiago Martins can be sidelined for about two months after present process left knee surgical procedure, the workforce introduced Tuesday.
The membership mentioned Martins underwent an arthroscopic process and will resume coaching in six to eight weeks.
Martins, 28, is slated to start rehabbing the knee instantly.
The Brazilian has one help in 14 matches this season, his second with NYCFC. Last season, he had two assists in 26 matches (25 begins).
Martins performed professionally in Brazil and Japan earlier than becoming a member of NYCFC.
