TOKYO (TR) – Prosecutors have introduced the non-prosecution of a male director at public broadcaster NHK over the alleged sexual assault of a lady in Shibuya Ward earlier this 12 months, reviews TBS News (Mar. 25).
At round 2:15 p.m. on January 4, Kensuke Nakamoto, 50, was suspected of luring the girl, aged in her 20s, from a road and into a close-by constructing. He was then alleged to have sexually assaulted her on the touchdown of a staircase.
During questioning on suspicion of non-consensual sexual activity, Nakamoto partially denied the fees. He mentioned, “I did not force or coerce [her] into doing it.”
On Wednesday, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office introduced the non-prosecution of Nakamoto. “We have decided not to indict after conducting the necessary investigation, but we cannot disclose the details in order to protect the honor and privacy of those involved,” prosecutors mentioned in an announcement.
Nakamoto is the chief director of the Sports Information Program Department of the NHK News Bureau’s Sports Center. He was not acquainted with the sufferer earlier than the incident, police mentioned.
According to police, Nakamoto threatened the sufferer previous to the sexual assault. He mentioned, “I have something dangerous.” After the incident, he fled on a bicycle.
