New Graduates Hard to Find for Japan’s Small Business

A major problem has emerged for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Japan as labor shortages proceed to deepen. Despite efforts to boost beginning salaries, 74% of those companies have been unable to rent new graduates as per their plans.

The Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry carried out a survey from the sixteenth to the twenty third of January amongst its member firms nationwide, garnering responses from 1,920 companies.
