Nearly 40% of Publishers in Japan Report Losses

TOKYO, Sep 10 (News On Japan) –
Bookstores throughout Japan proceed to shut, and publishers are dealing with equally harsh enterprise circumstances. According to non-public analysis agency Teikoku Databank, 36.2% of publishers posted losses final fiscal 12 months, the best proportion previously 20 years.

More than 60% of publishers have seen their efficiency deteriorate.
