LOS ANGELES, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) — NASA and SpaceX are concentrating on no sooner than late March 2025 to launch a brand new crewed mission to the International Space Station (ISS), NASA mentioned on Tuesday.
The new mission, codenamed Crew-10, will ship NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov to ISS.
The company’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission with NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, Butch Wilmore, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov will return to Earth following the arrival of Crew-10 to the orbital laboratory, based on NASA.
Williams and Wilmore have been caught in house since June as a consequence of technical issues of Boeing’s Starliner which took them to ISS.
NASA’s earlier plan was to get them again subsequent February. But the brand new schedule introduced Tuesday meant the 2 astronauts will keep in house at the very least another month.
