Local residents have filed a petition for a provisional injunction to cease Unit 3 of the Mihama Nuclear Power Plant in Fukui Prefecture, which has restarted after greater than 40 years because it began operation, claiming that there’s a threat of accidents as a consequence of growing older. The Osaka High Court will decide on the fifteenth.
