A person in his 40s who went to gather overdue hire at an house in Nishitokyo, Tokyo, was repeatedly stabbed on September 7, with police arresting a 66-year-old resident who was three months behind on hire and was scheduled to vacate the property that day.
The assault occurred at round 5:30 p.m. at an house constructing in Hibarigaoka-Kita, a quiet residential neighborhood a few two-minute stroll from Hibarigaoka Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line.
The Metropolitan Police Department arrested house resident Katsuji Kondo, 66, on the scene on suspicion of tried homicide.
