OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police introduced on Thursday {that a} male suspect being held in on the Yao Police Station was discovered hanged.
The defendant, aged in his 20s, he was later confirmed lifeless in an obvious suicide, reviews Kyodo News (Jan. 14).
According to police, an officer on patrol found the person leaning towards the toilet door of his cell at round 10:05 pm on Wednesday.
He had hung himself with a bit of clothes affixed to the door.
The defendant was later confirmed lifeless at a hospital.
Police added the person had confirmed no indicators of trying suicide previously.
There had been different detainees within the cell on the time, however they had been asleep and didn’t discover something uncommon.
According to police, the person was arrested on December 24, 2025 on suspicion of tried theft. He was subsequently indicted.
