Kenji Kosaka, a professor emeritus at Yokohama City University who found “ Lewy physique dementia ” wherein irregular proteins known as “ Lewy our bodies ” accumulate within the mind, died of aspiration pneumonia on the sixteenth of this month. he was 83 years previous.
After graduating from Kanazawa University School of Medicine, Mr. Kosaka was conducting analysis on the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Psychiatry in 1976 when irregular proteins known as “Lewy bodies” gathered within the cerebral cortex of the mind.
